About Me
Hello, My name is John Boyd. I was born and raised in Tampa Florida and currently live on the south end of Tampa Bay.
I have tried to do the 'website thing' on and off really not knowing what to do. By that, I mean what direction I want to take with it in the first place. It started with just art, but anyone that knows me knows that my mind is scatterbrained. I have areas of interests but it could be art today, writing, tomorrow, or going on a hike on Sunday. Some times I do the very thing that might be counter productive and just get overwhelmed with daily responsibilities where as those interests take a back burner. But one thing that I need to practice, is the idea of 'a little everyday.' The only way to get better with art or photography or anything is to create a habit of it.
I use the word 'happiness' as far as describing what it is that I am creating, mine--because I'm doing what I enjoy, as well as others--because of the joy and emotional responses that people get when viewing an image or writing. I starting showing off and sharing with customers at my work. They would be regular customers and ask what we have been up to and when I tell them I draw and write then I got into the habit of sharing and the reactions became priceless and well worth it all. I hope to achieve the same and more here and I hope everyone enjoys.
